Hanna Vorlicek
After receiving an Associate Degree in Technical Theatre from Douglas College, Hanna took advantage of her youth travelling and living abroad. She has lived and worked in Prague, New York, and Montreal where she received her B.A. degree from Concordia University in Communication. Returning to BC Hanna free lanced in the film industry as an Assistant Director and as a Production Manager in the event industry.
Prior to founding the PMCA Hanna was employed at Rocky Mountain Production Services in Vancouver, BC. She started at Rocky as a Project Manager and naturally grew into the role of Director of Production, Sales. Hanna's work has taken her to many continents and has included working with clients such as the Arts Umbrella, Children's Hospital, BC Cancer Foundation Lilith Fair, Holt Renfrew, Olympic Games, Pan American Games, International Federation of Track and Field to name a few.
Hanna has sat on several Councils as a member and President. She currently is a member of the Pitt Meadows Festival Advisary Committee. Hanna with her son Jakob founded Hockey Day (2007). She has coached minor soccer with the PMSA and, managed several youth hockey teams with the RMMHA. After 6 years of service Hanna recently retired from her Auxiliary Constable role with the Ridge-Meadows RCMP. In her down time Hanna enjoys her family, camping, fishing, playing hockey, walking the dikes of Pitt Meadows.
